It was once one of the largest Bastide (fortress) towns in the South-West, which today, means plenty of classic architecture for us tourists, especially around the central La Fayette square. To conclude our mini-tour, we'll pay a visit to the miniature city of Saralat. Home to just 9,000 people, it's somewhere that won't take you long to get around, but then again, hustle-and-bustle is not the way of life here; relaxing with a glass of wine in a small ash-coloured cafe is more the scene.
