Museums worth visiting are the Musee des Beaux-Arts; Musee de la Faience which is filled with fine porcelain dating back to neolithic times. Not forgetting the Natural History Museum where those interested in Geology, Botany, Zoology and Mineralogy will be filled with information and education.

There are numerous fabulous walking routes around the whole area - tourist information offices will give you routes and advice freely. Alternatively you might like to cycle all along the coastline and to inland villages around and about.

Being so close to the Cote d'Azur means you can enjoy the seaside world - those golden beaches and the chance to swim in the ocean and totally relax. From Marseilles its just a short drive to the Camargue regions which is famous for horse riding through the countryside - feel the air and grasp that freedom for a while!
