Being so close to Avignon - one of the three major cities of Provence means you have easy access to many attractions, sites and delights as well as being within easy catchment for the Camargue region - famous for its horse riding and the Parc du Luberon.

Famous for its lavender fields you can take a day trip to the nearby Parc du Luberon and not only view the most amazing sights there but breath in the most healing of aromas you will ever smell in the pure fresh air here.

Other visitations worth considering are to the Pope's Palace, perhaps do the Art Trail or be sure to be here during the Festival of Ancient Music.

Interesting and colourful markets take place on a Tuesday at Les Halles - fun and a happy social atmosphere.

Try the specialities of the region including Avignon Papalines from the chocolate shops and whilst there top up on nougat which is the other famous sweet here.

Fine dining in the evenings with the best tasting cheeses, meats and fine wines to accompany your meal.
