We are located just a short distance from Cherbourg - about 2 miles - so making us a perfect spot to stay as you arrive in to the France or perhaps just as you are leaving - giving you a good night's sleep before your day of travel ahead. With 43 ensuite rooms all fully equipped for families and having TV and a place to work if needs be.
Cherbourg itself is one of the major Ferry ports and as such is a popular place - there are some 1000 moorings here and you will spot many yachts. The whole coastline of Manche is filled with seaside towns and resorts which are ideal for families. Visit the museums - there are many - Musee d'Art Thomas Henry, Musee Emmanuel Liais and Musee de la Glacerie - there's also an Aquarium in the harbour area - Les Parc des Loisirs which is a favourite with the children.
Touring this region you will find many heritage sites - chateaux and a wonderful parkland - the whole region is filled with glorious countryside and the chance to enjoy cycling, horse riding, golfing and if you head for the coastline you can have those family seaside days out - picnics on the beaches - apples, lemonade, cheeses, breads, salads, cakes and sweets. Lazy days where you can spend quality time with your loved ones, play Frisbee, ball, swim, relax and sunbathe.

Bad stuff: Nothing Overall: Have stayed there before and had no hesitation in booking a room again, the rooms are clean, comfortable and adequate . The staff always make you feel welcome, are friendly and helpful. The recent stay was no different and will happily book again when appropriate. It is always good value for money. |
