The Tupiniers Fair takes place in the Old Town every second weekend in the September and there's a major bric-a-brac fair taking place during the third weekend in June which fills the streets of the Old Town.

Wine lovers should take note of a rare and special date - 3rd November - this is the time when the special and young Beaujolais Nouveau is released - its just a short and pleasant drive from the city, through forests, pastures and granite peaks - a short but magical Beaujolais Nouveau Run.

Spend evenings in fine French restaurants and look out on to the city of lights as you chat and enjoy the atmosphere.
