Saint Victor is most famous for its amazing 11th century Castle and church with sits at the top of the hilltop and enjoys panoramic views of the Lac de Grangent. Spend pleasant days at the lake with a picnic and friends as you relax in the golden sunshine.
Close by the town of Montlucon is home to Chateau de la Louviere - built by Francois- Joseph Troubat in 1926 and displays 17th century tapestries, art work and furnishings, giving you a glimpse of life many moons ago. Elegance and style and a true feeling of aristocracy. The Musee de Musiques Populaires is filled with some 800 instruments that date back to the 17th century and include copper pipes, flutes and once entertained the Dukes of the Castle.
A trip in to Vichy is well worth the time - there are numerous events and entertainment taking place here throughout the year and evening time is filled with theatre, opera and the Casino with a wealth of options for dining and socialising.
