When you visit this ancient city in the French Riviera you will feel a distinct sense of times gone by - founded by the Greeks and then developed by the Romans there is a true blend of all that was and all that is today. Take a stroll up to Cimiez where you can view the whole city and sea and enjoy the olive groves, visit the Monastery and view the Museums there.

If you have a literary interest then the Nice Public Library has some rather interesting books - mostly in French but there are other in English and other languages too.

Parks and playgrounds mean you can take that stroll, let the children run around and then perhaps head for some delightful fine French cuisine in one of the many fine restaurants.
