Located in the middle of the Morvan Park makes us a most elegant place to stay - perfect for those who love nature and relish the thought of taking those pleasant morning walks before breakfast. Meander through the grounds and enjoy the shady trees as you breath in the fresh air, soak up the golden sunshine and lose yourself in blue sky thoughts.

We are very close to the charming town of Vezelay where you can visit a number of historical sites, including the Cestercian Abbeys and many Gallic and Roman ruins.

Avallon is just a short drive away and this fortified town dates back to medieval times with the Roman Church of St Lazare dating all the way back to the 12th century - take note of the two rather interesting doorways. Grande Rue Aristide-Briand is where you will find the Clock Tower that dates back to 1460. The whole town is filled with 15th and 16th century houses and its well worth just strolling around and taking in the ancient architecture and fine art work all around.

The town is most famous for its many restaurants and fine food so be sure to make plenty of time to choose an inviting and romantic place where you can indulge in the excellent cuisine, fine wines of the region and enjoy a slow paced evening with your beau. Perfect.
