Recently refurbished we offer all the old world charm and furnishings with art that depicts times gone by , combined with modern day facilities with a super swimming pool for that early morning dip. The Chateaux is set in 130 acres of parkland and woodland that has been here centuries, bordered by the River Dronne. We sit at the meeting point of Perigord Vert and the South Charente.
Take a stroll out or drive in to the rolling countryside, discover the riverside life, swim in the rivers and picnic in the hills. If you feel so inclined you can hire cycles and take to the roads with many a suggested route around the little villages. Horse riding is plentiful and water life includes canoeing and a spot of fishing in certain parts.
You are in the land of high feasting with the best in French cuisine - fresh produce, local meats and sauces that only the chefs have the magical ingredients to. Fine wines - white, crisp and light with a hint of Elder Flower or the rich and earthy Pechement that accompanies any meat dish or the delicacy of foie gras.
