A popular stop off in the town is the Restaurant Lameloise which is famous for its Lamb dishes, Bresse Pigeon and its delicious Lemon Souffle - all with a fine selection of Burgundies.

We are a short drive to Autun and just 11miles from Beaune where you will find a hub of activity, museums, shopping and heritage sites. An abundance of restaurants, cafes and bars.

Head for Rue des Lorraines, Rue D'Alsace, Rue Mafoux and Place de la Madeleine for the best shopping - boutiques, fashion houses, accessories. One of the best towns in the region for sampling and buying those Burgundy wines - head for Marche aux Vins on Rue Nicolas Rolin housed in a 14th century church - a very cool place with the cellars under the church floor - novel and practical.

Indulge in the delicious gastronomy here with a good choice of many restaurants - taste those local dishes and of course accompany with some of the best wines in the world. Wonderful.
