Cimiez and Le Chateau are the two main vantage points where you can enjoy spectacular views across the city and sea. Cimiez is home to the Monastery and museums and the gardens play host to the Jazz Festival in the summer, also where the Roman Amphitheatre is. Le Chateau is actually the rock with no castle but a magical shimmering waterfall can be found there as well as Roman ruins, peaceful parks and the Naval Museum.
