Another very popular town is Turckheim where you will find its own brand of wine. Riquewihr is close by and is filled with medieval and Renaissance houses and streets of interest.

There are a number of interesting museums to visit in Colmar main town - each paying tribute to something different - firefighters, trains, antique toys, armoury and weapons and Faience pottery. Check out the gruesome looking Maison des Tetes - an ornate building dating back to 1609 with a number of heads looking out at you.
