We are nicely nestled just a few miles from Caen - easy and quick access for those who are just arriving in to France or just leaving and need to rest before a day of travelling ahead of them. We welcome you warmly and provide with a place of comfort.

Lovely place to stay for a night or a few days - close to the Normandy beaches and easy access in to the countryside and surrounding village and towns. All our ensuite rooms are tastefully decorated and provide you with a place of rest and relaxation. All fully equipped - we welcome families and couples.

A full breakfast is served to set you up for your day ahead - whether travelling onward or touring the area - if you do have time to visit nearby attractions there are a few worth mentioning. Close to the Race Course so you can attend important race meets and at Regatta time of year be here for the speed sailing competitions.

There are many museums, monuments and chateaux to explore - gardens and parks and just up the road at Ouistreham there is the Sea Water Therapy Centre - why not treat yourself for the afternoon. Also here is a Casino for those interested in an alternative night out. Visit the Church of Saint-Samson dating back to the 1100's and restored in the 19th century. The Museum of the Atlantic Wall is highly educational.

Caen itself has two churches and a couple of museums - Beaux-Art for the art lovers and Musee de Peace where the story of the 2nd world war is told and there are many remembrances - excellent for historians.

Good stuff: liked the friendliness of the staff, enjoyed the food, and liked the cleanliness of the rooms

Bad stuff: Toilet was a little small. Hotel was a little too far away from CAEN town centre
