A pleasant stroll down Promenade des Anglais takes you to the Port area where you can continue up to Pointe des Ponchettes beneath the Chateau rock. Enjoy views along the beaches and main town or simply spend the day by the sea, soaking up the sun and working on that tan.

Cimiez is an hours walk away but well worth the effort. At the top you will find the Monastery, olive groves, museums of Archaeology, Franciscan and Matisse. Panoramic views out over the sea and city are well worth photographing.

Marvellous markets - the most famous in the Old Town where you can enjoy the Monday Flea Market and find that special hidden treasure.

Golfing, Camping and Parachuting are just some of the sports on offer and there are two very helpful Tourist Information Offices at the main rail station and Avenue Thiers as well as the weekly publication known as Semaine des Spectacles produced every Wednesday and detailing events in Nice, Cannes and Aix, which can be found on most news stands.
