Fancy doing a short "run" - head North West of the city and you are in Beaujolais country - be there on 3rd November and you can pluck the first Beaujolais Nouveau of the season.

Lyon is famous for its gastronomic delights - some of the most favoured dishes come from here so be sure to try something different every night - with a fine wine of the Rhone Valley.
