Immerse yourself in nature and the chance to stay in our most beautiful and enchanted 11th century chateau. Once belonging to the famous Robert Bertrand the hero of the Battle of Hastings, who fought along side William the Conqueror. Old and new combine to bring you a place of charm and wisdom as you enjoy pleasant and peaceful days here.

All our ensuite rooms are delightfully decorated with colour, subtle lighting, all the comforts of home and some extra special treats. A most attentive and caring team of staff will make you feel most welcome and see to your every request.

The Chateau has been visited by the most regal of Queens - Victoria and later by General Montgomery - so we sit in humble awre and willing to accept VIPs and discerning visitors who wish to enjoy all that is on offer here.

Take a stroll around the medieval town, visit the Abbey and grasp an appreciation of life and culture centuries ago. Visit St Mere Eglise and rest a while as you contemplate life. Head down to Mont-St-Michel for the day and visit the jewell in the Normandie crown as you walk the enchanted steps, enjoy the panoramic views and take advantage of those photographic shots.

Pleasant days out in the countryside as you enjoy picnics in the shade, visit the nearby towns and villages and take advantage of market days where you get to pick the best fresh produce, fine wines and delicious cheeses. Pure bliss.
