Next door stands the Palace of Tau (another World Heritage Site), which includes many priceless artefacts, such as the 9th-century talisman of Charlemagne, former king of the Franks. Reims' International Airport provides a fast way into the department and excellent road and rail links exist to Paris, which is just 2 hour's drive away.
